📖 About this place

The Gangamati forest lies at the western edge of Kuakata beach, with casuarina and betel nut trees running into the sand. The sea and sandbars can be seen together beside the trees, especially at low tide. At dusk the sunset light spills through the branches. It is a good spot to escape Kuakata's crowds.
