At Bijoypur in Durgapur upazila, white-clay extraction has left hillocks and a lake that look strikingly unusual. The water turns blue-green depending on the light, which is superb for photos. The Meghalaya hills rise in the background. It is now one of the country's popular day-trip destinations.
🚌 How to go
From Netrokona town, a bus to Durgapur takes 1.5–2 hours for 80–150 BDT, then a CNG takes 20–30 minutes for 100–200 BDT. Direct buses from Dhaka also run.
