📖 About this place
The haors of Kalmakanda upazila turn into vast sheets of water in the monsoon. Boat rides past villages and birdlife are the main draw. In winter the paddy fields are green and gold. Being lesser known, the area stays peaceful.
🚌 How to go
From Netrokona town to Kalmakanda by bus or CNG takes 1.5–2 hours for 80–200 BDT. Boat hire there costs about 500–1,500 BDT.
