Sunamganj is a district of haors, where vast areas go under water in the monsoon. In winter, crop fields and migratory birds take over. Living on a boat while exploring the haor is its most popular experience.
🚌 How to reach from Dhaka
Buses from Dhaka to Sunamganj take about 7-8 hours at BDT 700-1,200. Alternatively, take a train to Sylhet and a bus on to Sunamganj in 2-3 hours for BDT 200-300. For Tanguar, hire a boat from Sunamganj town or Tahirpur.
