📖 About this place
The Jashoreswari Temple is an old Kali temple at Ishwaripur in Shyamnagar upazila. It is regarded as one of the 51 Shakti Peethas of the Hindu tradition. Devotees throng it during Kali Puja each year. Its architecture and old setting also attract history lovers.
🚌 How to go
From Satkhira town it takes 2-3 hours by bus or microbus at BDT 150-300. Take an auto or van from Shyamnagar for the last stretch.
