📖 About this place

Kaptai Lake is the country's largest man-made lake, dotted with islets and hills. The town's hanging bridge is Rangamati's emblem and busy in the afternoon. Engine boats let you tour villages and small falls around the lake.

Hire an engine boat from town ghat. Dhaka to Rangamati by bus takes 7-9 hours, BDT 800-1,500.
