📖 About this place

The Puthia complex holds many temples, including Govinda, Shiva, Gopal and Jagannath. Their walls carry terracotta plaques depicting the Ramayana, Mahabharata and scenes of daily life. The Puthia zamindars had them built in the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries. The nearby palace and ponds make the whole area pleasant.

🚌 How to go

From Rajshahi city it takes about 45 minutes to an hour by bus or CNG at BDT 50 to 200. From Dhaka it is 7 to 8 hours via Rajshahi.
