📖 About this place

The Bagha Mosque was built in 1523 during Sultan Nusrat Shah's reign. Its brick walls bear floral and vine terracotta motifs. A large adjacent pond and the shrine of Shah Daula make the area important both religiously and historically. Many visitors and worshippers come every day.

From Rajshahi city it takes about an hour by bus or CNG for BDT 50 to 200. From Dhaka allow 7 to 8 hours via Rajshahi.
