Chapainawabganj is famous across the country for mangoes. The ruins of ancient Gaur-Lakhnauti and Sultanate-era mosques bear witness to its history. In June and July, the mango season brings a festive mood to the whole district.
🚌 How to reach from Dhaka
From Dhaka, buses to Chapainawabganj take 6 to 7 hours at BDT 700 to 1,200. You can also take a train to Rajshahi and continue by bus, about 7 to 8 hours and BDT 500 to 1,200 in all. From Rajshahi it is roughly a 1.5-hour road journey.
