Madhabkunda lies in Barlekha upazila, with water dropping from roughly 100 feet. Many people bathe in the natural pool below, though the current is strong in the monsoon. The surrounding hill forest and picnic area make it popular with families. Flow drops sharply in the dry season.

From Moulvibazar town it takes 2-3 hours by bus or CNG, costing BDT 200-800. From Dhaka, go via Srimangal and the Kulaura-Barlekha route.
