Nikli Haor turns into a boundless sheet of water in the monsoon. Drifting by boat to watch sunrise or sunset in the middle of the haor is memorable. In winter, migratory birds visit. The area is also known for its abundant fish.

Dhaka to Kishoreganj takes 3-4 hours, then 1 hour on to Nikli; bus plus auto costs 400-700 BDT. Boat hire is 300-600 BDT per hour.
