Khulna is among the largest cities in Bangladesh and the main base for Sundarbans trips. The Rupsha and Bhairab rivers wrap around it. From here you can reach the Sundarbans, the heritage sites of Bagerhat and nearby river areas.
🚌 How to reach from Dhaka
Buses from Dhaka reach Khulna in 6-7 hours via the Padma Bridge at BDT 600-1,500. Trains such as Sundarban Express or Chitra Express take 8-10 hours at BDT 350-1,200. By air, fly to Jashore and drive 1-1.5 hours.
