Jhalokati is a small but lovely district threaded by canals and green villages. It is famous for guava and hog plum farming, and its floating markets attract visitors from home and abroad. It is easy to visit from Barishal.
🚌 How to reach from Dhaka
Buses from Dhaka's Gabtoli or Sayedabad take 5–7 hours and cost BDT 500–900. You can also take a launch to Barishal and a bus on to Jhalokati in 30–45 minutes for BDT 50–100.
