Fulchhari ghat is a well-known crossing on the Jamuna. From here you can take a boat to the chars where sand and kash flowers stretch to the horizon. Sunsets turn the river brilliant colours. You can see the life of char dwellers up close.

From Gaibandha town about 1 hour by bus or CNG, BDT 60–150. Boat hire to the chars is BDT 200–500.
