Dinajpur is one of the oldest districts of north Bengal, rich in temples, monastic ruins and zamindar houses. Terracotta architecture and huge man-made ponds are its main draws. Misty winter mornings and fragrant-rice villages make a visit memorable.
🚌 How to reach from Dhaka
Buses from Dhaka take about 8–10 hours and cost BDT 800–1,500. Trains such as Ekota, Drutojan and Panchagarh Express take about 9–11 hours, fares BDT 500–1,500. Saidpur airport is roughly 45 km away.
