📖 About this place

Ahsan Manzil was the residence of the Dhaka nawab family and took its present form in the 19th century. The domed pink building is now a museum with about 23 rooms of furniture and photographs. The upper floor offers a pleasant view of the Buriganga. The front garden fills with locals in the afternoon.

🚌 How to go

It is near Sadarghat in Kotwali. From Gulistan a rickshaw takes 20-30 minutes for about 80-150 BDT. Check opening days as it may close on some weekdays.
