📖 About this place

Char Kukri-Mukri is an island at the estuary in Char Fasson upazila, with green mangroves and wide sandy shores. In winter many migratory bird species visit. Locals say deer and monkeys also live in the forest. The population is small, so the setting is very quiet and unspoiled.

🚌 How to go

From Bhola town a bus to Char Fasson takes 2–3 hours for BDT 200–350. From Char Fasson a trawler to the island takes 2–3 hours and costs about BDT 3,000–6,000 per boat.

Basic hotels in Char Fasson cost BDT 1,000–2,500; there is almost no lodging on the island.
