📖 About this place
Kirtankhola is the main river flowing beside Barishal city, with the launch ghat and port on its bank. Morning and evening bring crowds of boats and launches and a busy ghat scene. A short country-boat ride to the opposite bank is easy to arrange. The river looks especially lovely at sunset.
🚌 How to go
From anywhere in the city a rickshaw or auto takes 10–20 minutes for BDT 30–80. If you arrive by launch from Dhaka you step off right at this ghat.

Hotels close to the river cost BDT 1,200–5,000 a night.

Tea, spiced puffed rice and fried hilsa are sold around the ghat.
