📖 About this place

Durga Sagar at Madhabpasha is among the largest man-made ponds in the country and is said to commemorate the mother of a local zamindar. Its banks have shady trees and built ghats. In winter many migratory birds visit. It is a good place for a quiet family outing.

🚌 How to go

Madhabpasha in Babuganj is about 22 km from Barishal city, reached in 45–60 minutes by bus or CNG for BDT 50–200. You can visit it on the same day after reaching Barishal from Dhaka.
