📖 About this place

Patharghata is one of the country's busiest fish landing centres, where trawlers return from the sea in crowds. At dawn the auctions, ice trucks and fishermen's calls make the port lively. Sitting on the riverbank at sunset to watch the rows of boats is pleasant. It is a great place to see local life up close.
