📖 About this place
Nilgiri is an army-run hill resort about 46 km from Bandarban town. At roughly 2,200 ft you can watch clouds drift below the viewing deck, especially at dawn and dusk. The air stays cool all day. A small resort and cafeteria are on the hilltop.
🚌 How to go
From Bandarban town take a chander gari or reserved jeep, about 1.5-2 hours, roughly BDT 3,000-4,500 per vehicle. From Dhaka, ride a bus to Bandarban first and transfer.
🏨 Where to stay
Cottages at the resort cost around BDT 3,000-5,000 and need advance booking. Standard hotels in Bandarban town cost BDT 1,000-2,500.

The resort cafe serves basic rice, fish and chicken. Try bamboo chicken, a hill speciality, in town.
