Bandarban is the district of the country's tallest hills and deepest valleys, home to Marma, Tripura, Mro, Bawm and other communities. Cloud-level peaks, the Sangu River and adventurous trekking trails draw thousands of travellers every year.
🚌 How to reach from Dhaka
Air-conditioned and non-AC buses from Dhaka's Sayedabad or Gabtoli take 7-9 hours and cost about BDT 800-1,500. You can also take a train to Chattogram and continue by bus or local vehicle for 2-3 hours at roughly BDT 200-300. Catch a morning vehicle as hill roads are slow after dark.
